Our APR course is accepted all over Alberta, including Suncor and Syncrude sites. After completing this course, the students will be able to do the following:
- Describe the use and limitations of half-mask and full-face Air Purifying Respirators
- Explain the terms breakthrough and warning properties, and list four steps that should be taken if breakthrough occurs
- Demonstrate the proper procedure for performing a positive and negative user seal check on APR
