Hazardous Waste Worker

The Hazardous Waste course deals with the history of asbestos; health effects of exposer, and general and specific duties in regards to asbestos abatement. The course covers specifics of asbestos abatement including evaluation, isolation, selection of tools, and general procedures as well as an introduction to respiratory protective equipment. The course deals with air monitoring techniques that verify decontamination procedures, and finally the health and safety concerns associated with abatement projects. This is a 40 hour program.

    • Hi there, we only offer it once or twice a year due to low enrollment. Keep an eye on our schedule for Asbestos training, it’s a shorter version of this course.
